Hyderabad will be host to the COP-MOP6 Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety and COP11 Convention on Biological Diversity. Organised by the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India, MOP 6 will be held from 1 to 5 October 2012 and the COP 11 will be held from 8 to 19 October 2012 at the HICC-HITEX Complex in Hyderabad, India.

 The ecocenter is here by declared  as inaugurated on  29^th October 2012 Saturday afternoon by Sri Pulaparthi Rammnjaneyulu, MLA Bhimavaram, West. Godavari Dist. Andhra Pradesh.T  World  Biodiversity Saturday afternoon in Chamber of Commerce Building, he ecocenter is functioning here after regularly in Bhimavaram. Environment Protection, Pollution,  Biodiversity and sustainable development and its relevant issues are enlightened for creating awareness for public in general and stakeholders in particular . The center is inviting comments and suggessions from public to improve its services.

 State level Science Exhibition -2012 held at at Laqhsya Engineering College, Thanikella Village, Khammam District, from 12^th to 14^th September, 2012. Nearly 400 students has  participated in this Exhibition along with their Projects/Model made by them from 12 Districts in the state. Dr. M. Satyanarayana Reader (Retd.)and Prof B.N. Reddy, Osmania University  has attended the programme as a Jury members on behalf of APSCERT/DST  panel members and selected 5.0 % best exhibits to National  level competition to be held in shortly at New Delhi.
